Parking at IBM Bedfont Lakes and Harrow

Car Parking at IBM Bedfont Lakes

We have received the following information from the IBM UK Club Co-ordinator, which announces the immediate withdrawal of holiday parking facilities at IBM Bedfont Lakes, together with a note which highlights the reasons for the dcision.

                                               --------------------------------------------

With immediate effect, there are changes to the car parking at Bedfont. There will no longer be any facility for anyone to park here to go on holiday. This is due to the greatly reduced allocation of parking to IBM. Below is a copy of the note that has gone out to all employees. Not only will this impact individuals who have been using Bedfont to park so they can go to Heathrow, but to any coach trips you have planned that have a Bedfont pick-up!

Please can you make sure that all your members are aware of these changes.

-----------------

In line with our reduced office occupancy at Bedfont Lakes, the parking space allocation we are provided by the landlord will be reduced to 174 spaces from March onwards and will be designated closer to Building 3. Signage will be updated in the car parks to reflect this change and this will be undertaken by the landlord. Parking protocols will need to be strictly adhered to which includes no holiday parking or long-term stays.

All day Parking in Harrow for £3.50

Not city centre but only 6 tube stations away and only two stations from Wembley. It's at Harrow on the Hill, town centre in the Queens Building and is just across the road from the tube station. It is open 24x7 so London theatre land is OK and it is already well known to Wembley Park regulars so avoid match days. Off the M40/A40 follow signs for Harrow then for Harrow on the Hill. As you approach the town watch for signs to the big St George and St Anns carparks, as you near these the Queens Building long stay is signposted. You pay as you enter so have change ready.
