On 11 July, Members of the retirees club went  on a narrowboat evening on July 11th from Brindley Place in Birmingham which was organised by Peter Barnes. It was a most enjoyable experience with a first class meal served whilst we cruised the canals. 
 

After the meal we explored further areas of the canal system, stopping at a convenient place to turn the boat around.

 

All in all a most pleasant evening enjoyed by all
