IBM Retirees Club (Midlands)

December 2006 Newsletter

25 members and guests attended our Indian evening in Kenilworth at what certainly looked to be a popular local venue.  Our thanks to Barry for organising a most enjoyable evening.

Those who attended our Spring Lunch this year will remember Lesley Smith and further in this Newsletter you will see an announcement for the 2007 Spring Lunch which sees the return of Lesley by popular request but at a different location with a different character.  Get your booking form to Anne Hope as soon as possible.  Anne has included a map which I think is a great improvement on the one on the Moreton Hall web site - those of you going to the Christmas Lunch may also like to use this map so click here.

I have been reorganising our Newsletter archives so that you will only see the more recent Newsletters.  This doesn't mean that I have done a mass delete - what I have done is to organise by year for the older ones, going back to 2003, so if you need access to any that are earlier then those shown from the 'Archive' link, please ask.

Last but not least, on behalf of the Committee, I would like to wish all members and their families a Very Happy Christmas and New Year and we hope to see you at some of the events which are planned for 2007.
