IBM Retirees PC and Technology Group (founded by Harry Green)

The IBM Retirees PC and Technology Group meets every alternate month for a lively discussion on PC and technology topics in the digital age. There are usually one or two specific presentations given by members or by outside speakers, which the members of the Group have requested. We try to provide a reasonable balance between PC “techie” topics, new technology, and topics of a more general nature such as digital television, Internet telephony and digital photography. So whether you are a newcomer to the PC or a more experienced user, we hope you will find something of interest. You are very welcome to join us.

Exchanging files via Cloud Storage

The IBM Tech Club meets using the Zoom video conferencing platform at 11.00 on the third Friday of each month. The next meeting is scheduled for the 19th of June.

Technology is something that affects all of us. You do not have to be a member of the Tech club to join our meeting. All Midlands Retiree Club members are welcome to tune in.

The topic for the meeting is “Exchanging files via Cloud Storage”.

I will try to share my limited knowledge of this field with reference to some of the common cloud platforms, like Dropbox and Google Drive. I hope that others with more experience can pitch in share what they know also.

At 11 oclock on the day of the meeting click on the link below. It should take you straight into the meeting.

If you need help with Zoom contact me, John Rickman (rickman@argonet.co.uk), in good time before the meeting.

See here for more information.
